IOM UK implements the following programmes:
Concessional Fares for British Nationals Migrating to Australia and New Zealand
IOM UK can provide special reduced one-way economy fare tickets and generous baggage allowance for British
nationals emigrating to Australia and New Zealand.
This is facilitated through IOM’s agreements with a large number of international carriers on specifically
designated routes. Fare reductions are available from most international carriers.
IOM will charge a reasonable service fee for providing concessional fares and baggage allowance.

Reduced Air Fares for Students
IOM UK offers concessional airfares to international students returning permanently to their countries of origin once they have finished their studies in the UK and to individuals going to study abroad. IOM has agreements with a large number of international carriers and is, thus, able to access airfares at discounted rates and with more flexible and generous terms and conditions on certain routes.
If you would like to get a travel quote from us, please download and fill the form below and send it to bookingsuk@iom.int along with a proof of your studies in the UK. This can be a letter from the educational institution you have been studying at (i.e. your school, University, etc). Please note that the costing may change due to airfare increases or currency exchange rate fluctuations between when we give you the quote and when you decide to book your ticket. Therefore, IOM will advise you of the exact cost after the actual airline booking has been made.
Ticket condition: Please note that IOM assists only with one-way travel to the destination country. This means that we cannot assist with any return trips. Also, please note voluntary stop-over is not permitted for the IOM migrants' fare.
Baggage allowance: The baggage allowance will depend on the airline and only applies to personal luggage. If you wish to move items by freight or cargo, or if you wish to take your pets, you need to contact the relevant authorities and make these arrangements yourself.
Travel documents and visas: Please note that it is your responsibility to obtain all travel documents and/or visas (including transit visas) necessary for your travel. IOM cannot advise you on any immigration matters nor assist you in obtaining any documents. Please ensure that you have all the necessary documents and visas before your departure.
Payment: The preferred method of payment is through bank transfer (in GBP). We can also accept the payment by cheque. Please note that we can only issue the ticket when IOM London has received the cleared funds.
